Abbey Orebanwo – Founder
He graduated from Greenwich University with BA Hon’s in Accounting and Finance. He is also a qualified mortgage broker.
Currently working as an Accountant, Abbey manages a chain of businesses and is very much into real estate.
Abbey has always supported other charity organisations. He was a committee member of Xpect, a youth social club within the London Borough of Newham and was also an elected School Governor for his son’s primary school in Essex.
It is Abbey’s dream to ensure that orphans of Africa are provided for and that no child suffer due to no fault of their own.
He is a Christian and happily married with two lovely children. During his spare time he enjoys Salsa dancing and travelling with his family.
Terry Lewis – Co-founder and Trustee
Is a Christian and runs two businesses in Essex.
He has four children. He enjoys music, entertaining and spending time with his family.
He is passionate about GAAP Orphanage Foundation and his dream is to see its growth into an organisation that changes lives.
Douglas Elom Snr – Trustee and Secretary
In his capacity as Secretary Douglas plays an active role in ensuring the business of all Trustee meetings are well organised, productive & documented accurately.
Douglas takes care of all IT systems.
Douglas is a professional Information Technologist with a Masters Degree in Computer Systems & Networking from South Bank University.
With a varied interest in music Douglas spends time writing and singing.
Douglas is blessed with happy marriage in a loving household with four children
Anthony Snow – Media officer and Trustee
Anthony Snow is a Senior Campaigns Officer at Transport for London and has 13 years experience in journalism and public relations. He graduated from Greenwich University with BA Hon’s in Accounting and Finance.
He was formerly the director of Snowmedia with a roster of clients which included the Department for Education where he was directly reporting to senior civil servants and government ministers. He also project managed initiatives for the Football Association’s anti-racism campaign (Kick It Out).
Roger Simpson – Trustee
Roger has a background in Architecture and Building Design and over twenty years experience in all aspects of planning, commercial and residential construction.
Roger has also worked with UK Charity Article 25 which provides design services to developing counties and to areas in the world with poor infrastructure that have been affected by disasters.
Petra Orebanwo
Petra is a qualified nurse and currently works within the field of urology and oncology as a specialist nurse in the South East of England.
She is happily married to Abbey and has two children and enjoys spending time away with her family.
She shares a deep passion for children’s rights and believes that their future is the future of the world.

Our Nigerian Trustees
Professor Majekodumi – Chair
A Professor of Ophthalmology and the former Head of Guiness Eye Center, Lagos University Teaching Hopital, Idi-Araba, Lagos. She is the Medical Director, Sajato Eye Hospital, Surulere. She is presently the chairman of Board of Trustee of GAAP Orphanage Foundation Nigeria. Also a Trustee member Ajesola Solarin Majekodunmi Foundation.
She has been involved in caring for the less privileged children for years and particularly concerned about the education of young teenage girls. Even though now retired from the role of a Trustee, professor Majekodunmi has left significantly influencial breadcrumbs.

The late Kolawole Orebanwo Senior – Vice Chairman
Mr Orebanwo senior was a proud and avid supporter of what his son is doing for the orphans of Africa.
He was a retired Civil Engineer who spent a considerable amount of this time helping others. He was married with 5 children and 11 grand children.
Dr Deji Oluwole – Secretary
Dr Deji is a consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist at the Lagos University Teaching hospital, Surulere, Lagos and also a minister of the gospel. He has been involved in caring for the underprivileged in his ministry, office and some other foundations. He is very concerned about the care for the disabled at any given opportunity. He has set up 2 initiatives in the 2 Government hospitals where indigent pregnant women have access to free healthcare to improve maternal and fetal well being. He is married with children..
Charles Ojo is the Chief Executive Officer of IWorld Global Services Limited.
With over 20 years experience in the banking and finance sector, his focus is ensuring that GAAP fundraising activities are planned and implemented efficiently. He has been acting as an adviser to the organisation for a few years.
Charles was a key member of the team that built Sterling Capital Markets Limited, into a leading Investment Banking institution in Nigeria.
In addition to a Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Charles is an alumnus of
various leading global professional training institutions, including the International Faculty of Finance (UK), New York Institute of Finance (USA) , Lagos Business School (Nigeria), Euromoney (UK) and Thomson Consulting (UK).

Mrs Kiki Pender – Treasurer
Mrs Pender has working in the banking sector for many year. With her finance back ground she currently holds the position as the Treasurer within GAAP Nigeria.
She is very much involved with ensuring that the organisations objectives are fulfilled.
She is happily married with children and lives in Lagos Nigeria.
Mr Boye Falonipe
Boye Falonipe is the Principal Consultant at NOIR ENHANCEMENT, a Business Image and Protocol Coaching firm in Lagos, Nigeria, where he trains and consults for individual and corporate clients on building and sustaining an effective image, one that increases their personal presence and improves public perception. His areas of expertise include: corporate appearance, business communication, and etiquette. Boye is the author of the book- Succeeding with Appearance in Business and Career, a first of its kind in Sub-Saharan Africa.
He is conference speaker, seminar facilitator, and astute administrator.
His assortment of speaking skills and excellent voice has also had Boye function as talk show host, compere, and voice over artist.
Boye is a born again Christian, and a passionate leader. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife, Nigeria. He loves reading, driving, country music and sanitation.
